Jones, Davis & Jackson, PC Successfully Secures Temporary Injunction In Key Networking Marketing Case In The United States District Court For The Eastern District Of Texas.

On February 28, 2020, the Firm’s clients obtained a temporary restraining order against the clients’ former contractor and a competitor that hired the former contractor in the 429th District Court of Collin County, Texas. The Firm’s clients, who are involved in the network marketing industry, took action against a newly formed competitor who lured away one of their contractors. In the temporary restraining order, the Court determined that the Defendants had engaged in tortious interference with business relationships and contracts, breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secrets, and additional violations of law. The case was subsequently resolved through the entry of a permanent injunction. The representation of the Firm’s client was led by Shareholders Matthew K. Davis and R. Steven Jones and Senior Of-Counsel, Wendy Dawer.
