On September 30, 2021, in a 28-page Memorandum Opinion and Order, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas dismissed claims filed against the Chief Executive Officer of one of the Firm’s clients. The Firm’s clients are involved in the network marketing industry and were sued, along with others, in a matter relating to an alleged stock fraud scheme. The Court determined that the plaintiffs failed to allege any viable claims against the Chief Executive Officer of the Firm’s client and dismissed the claims. The representation of the Firm’s client was led by Shareholders Matthew K. Davis and R. Steven Jones and Senior Of-Counsel, Wendy Dawer.
